Langara students who have completed an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree will receive up to 57 units of transfer credit towards their Bachelor degree program at Queen’s.

Applicants who have not completed the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree will be considered for admission on a credit-by-credit basis, based on the assessment of transfer credits for the courses completed. Applying to Post-Secondary in 2015?

Post-Secondary institutions start accepting applications for Sept 2015 admission in the Fall.  This is the time to start getting organized, research programs, and make sure that you are taking the correct courses for your program.

If you are planning to apply to a college to do a university-transfer program, please note that admission is first-come, first-served so it’s important that you apply early in order to get an early course registration date (course registration happens in late spring/early summer) and get the timetable you want.  Once you are a student in the college, your next course registration date will be based on your college grades.

Langara opens for admission for Sept 2015 on October 1st.  It costs $40 to apply and you can apply either through ApplyBC or directly on their website.

If you are applying to BCIT, admission opens Nov 1st.  There are 2 ways that BCIT admits students depending on the program?  Apply through ApplyBC.

  • First qualified basis:  applicants are admitted if they meet all program requirements until the program fills
  • Competitive Entry:  all applications received by the stated deadline for the program are considered and admissions selects the most qualified applicants.

If you would like more information about application dates, please download this handy flyer.

If you need help with admissions or with program/school selection, please book an appointment with me.  You can email me at ppaoluzzi@vsb.bc.ca or book on-line.
